Chairman
Doug Brown
called the regular meeting of the Zoning Board of appeals to order
at
6:30 p.m.
at the Genoa Township Hall. The Pledge of the Allegiance was then
said. The following board members were present constituting a
quorum for transaction of business:
Doug Brown
, Barbara Figurski,
Steve Wildman
, and
Joe Perri
. Also present was Township staff member
Adam
Van Tassell and approximately 2 persons in the audience.
Chairman
Brown gave a brief introduction of the board members and on why
the Zoning Board of Appeals exists.
Moved
by Figurski, supported by Wildman, to approve the agenda as
presented. Motion carried unanimously.
06-39…A
request by David and Beth Hembree, Sec. 32,
5784 Richardson Road
, for a side yard variance
to construct a detached accessory structure.
Moved
by Perri, supported by Figurski, to approve case #06-39 at
5784 Richardson Road
for a 25 foot south side variance with a setback of 15 feet to
construct a detached accessory structure of 1200 sq. ft. with the
finding of fact being the typography of the land and the location
of the septic field which allows for the only location of the
detached accessory structure. Approval is conditioned upon the
structure being guttered and additional trees being added on the
south side. The detached accessory structure will have no heat,
water, septic or living quarters. Motion carried unanimously.
Moved
by Figurski, supported by Wildman, to approve the
November 14, 2006
Zoning Board of Minutes with corrections. Motion carried
unanimously.
