Minutes:
A regular meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals was called to
order by Chairman Staley at 7:00 p.m. at the Genoa Township Hall.
The following board members were present constituting a quorum for
the transaction of business: Rick Staley, Barbara Figurski, Chris
Hensick, Judy Stornant and Jean Ledford. Also present were Township
Manager Michael Archinal and three persons in the audience.
Moved by Hensick, supported by Figurski, to approve the Agenda
with the deletion of item 1 and the addition of the Oath of Office
for Zoning Board of Appeals members. The motion carried unanimously.

Deleted.
The Oath of Office was given to members of the Zoning Board of
Appeals by Archinal.
00-56…A request by Richard Ralston, Section 3, 5740 Iroquois,
for an 8 foot front yard variance to replace a modular home.
A Call to the Public was made with no response. Moved by Ledford,
supported by Stornant, to approve a variance for the addition to
replace a burned portion of an existing structure that was salvaged
from the fire. The hardship is the lot size and the benefit to the
community. The motion carried unanimously.
Moved by Figurski, supported by Ledford, to approve the Minutes
of the December 19, 2000 regular meeting of the Zoning Board of
Appeals as submitted. The motion carried unanimously.
The meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals was adjourned at 7:20
p.m.
