AGENDA
Approval of Consent Agenda:
1. Payment of Bills.
2. Approval of Minutes: June 20, 2005.
3. Request for approval of a fee schedule for Lake Edgewood (Sewer
and Water) and Pine Creek (Sewer and Water) as recommended by the
Administrative Committee.
4. Request for approval of an agreement to lease the Genoa Township
Fire Station for a one-year term at a rental fee of $17,176.00 for the
fiscal year.
5. Request for approval to update the computer workstations for the
office staff, as recommended by the Administrative Committee.
Approval of Regular Agenda:
6. Public Hearing on the unsafe structure proceeding at 2607 E. Grand
River Ave., belonging to Lee’s Collision and Mr. Steven Lee. Request to
approve, modify or deny the recommendation of the hearing official
related to the proceeding.
MINUTES
Supervisor McCririe called the regular meeting of the Genoa Township
Board to order at 6:30 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was then said. The
following board members were present constituting a quorum for the
transaction of business: Gary McCririe, Paulette Skolarus, Robin Hunt,
Jean Ledford, Jim Mortensen and Steve Wildman. Also present were
Township Manager Michael Archinal and three persons in the audience.
A call to the public was made with no response.
Approval of Consent Agenda:
Moved by Mortensen, supported by Ledford, to approve the consent agenda
(moving item 3 for discussion to the regular agenda). The motion carried
unanimously.

Approval of Regular Agenda:
Moved by Ledford, supported by Mortensen, to approve the regular agenda
as submitted. The motion carried unanimously.

approve, modify or deny the recommendation of the hearing official
related to the proceeding.
Moved by Skolarus, supported by Mortensen, to table to the next
regular meeting of the Board. The motion carried unanimously.
7. Request for approval of a fee schedule for Lake Edgewood (Sewer
and Water) and Pine Creek (Sewer and Water) as recommended by the
Administrative Committee.
Moved by Skolarus, supported by Mortensen, to approve a rate increase
from $2.76 to $2.93 per 1,000 gallons for the Conference Center water
(effective immediately). The motion carried unanimously.
Moved by Ledford, supported by Hunt, to approve a rate increase from
$2.65 to $2.81 per 1,000 gallons for all other Lake Edgewood water users
(effective immediately). The motion carried unanimously.
Moved by Mortensen, supported by Wildman, to approve a water and
sewer increase from $2.33 to $2.47 for water and $3.25 to $3.38 for
sewer, per each 1,000 gallons used for Pine Creek (effective
immediately). Note: This is a pass/thru adjustment. The motion carried
unanimously.
Moved by Mortensen, supported by Hunt, to approve an increase in
connection fees for Pine Creek from $4,495.00 to $5,079.00 for water and
$6,043.00 to $6,280.00 for sewer. Note: This is a pass/thru adjustment.
The motion carried unanimously.
Moved by Skolarus, supported by Mortensen, to approve an increase in
the new user fees for MHOG, Lake Edgewood and Oak Pointe from $4,000.00
to $5,000.00 for water. The motion carried unanimously.
Moved by Ledford, supported by Mortensen, to approve an increase in
the new user fees for Genoa Oceola, Lake Edgewood and Oak Pointe from
$4,500.00 to $5,500.00 for sewer. The motion carried unanimously.
The regular meeting of the Genoa Township Board was adjourned at 6:45
p.m.
