Approval of Consent Agenda:

3. Request to authorize a publication and set a public hearing for July 16, 2007 at 6:30 p.m., for approval of Ordinance addressing Floodplain Management Provisions of the State Code.

4. Request to authorize a publication and set a public hearing for July 16, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. for approval of a revised Ordinance addressing the regulation of Solicitors and Peddlers within the Township.

5. Consideration of a request for approval to issue a fire works permit to Kurt Price for a display on Lake Chemung.

6. Consideration of a request for approval of the Assessor's affidavit of the 2007 millage levies for the Township of Genoa, establishing the Millage levy at 0.8146 as requested by Debra Rojewski.

7. Consideration of a request from the Economic Development Council of Livingston County for renewal of a contract between EDC and
Genoa Charter Township.

Consideration of a request to authorize a publication and set a public hearing for July 16, 2007 at 6:30 p.m., for approval of a rezoning application, impact assessment, conceptual PUD plan and PUD agreement to rezone 10.4 acres located on the South-West corner of Sterling Drive and Dorr Road, (11-15-200-018) from IND (Industrial) to MUPUD (Mixed Use Planned Unit Development) to construct a 16,101 sq. ft. retail, 5,935 sq. ft. office and a 41,966 sq. ft. industrial buildings, petitioned by Sterling Development Properties, L.L.C. (07-11) as discussed by the Planning Commission on May 14, 2007.

9. Consideration of a request by AT&T for a Franchise agreement.

10. Consideration of a resolution regarding House Bill 4780-88

11. Request to adjourn to a closed session of the board to discuss proposed judgments on Noble Avenue.

MINUTES

Supervisor McCririe called the regular meeting of the Genoa Charter Township Board to order at 6:30 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was then said. The following persons were present constituting a quorum for the transaction of business: Gary McCririe, Paulette Skolarus, Robin Hunt, Todd Smith, Jean Ledford, Steve Wildman and Jim Mortensen. Also present were Township Manager Michael Archinal and approximately eight persons in the audience.

A Call to the Public was made with no response.

Approval of Consent Agenda:

Moved by Mortensen, supported by Skolarus, to approve all items listed under the consent agenda with the addition of a request from Todd Smith for a fire works permit on a barge on Lake Chemung. Discussion of the E.D.C. of Livingston County will be discussed under the regular meeting of the board. The motion carried unanimously with Todd Smith abstaining from voting on his petition.

Approval of Regular Agenda:

Moved by Skolarus, supported by Ledford, to approve for action all items listed under the regular agenda. The motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Skolarus, supported by Ledford, to table the request until July 16, 2007 and ask that Mr. Dillingham address the board concerning his request. The motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Smith, supported by Skolarus, to authorize the publication for the public hearing. The motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Mortensen, supported by Ledford, to adopt the resolution as requested. The motion carried by roll call vote as follows: Ayes - Ledford, Smith. Hunt, Wildman, Mortensen, Skolarus and McCririe. Nays - None. Absent - None.

11. Consideration of a resolution regarding House Bill 4780-88.


Moved by Ledford, supported by Wildman, to approve the resolution - deleting reference to a part-time legislature and changing the meeting date. The motion carried by roll call vote as follows: Ayes - Ledford, Smith. Hunt, Wildman, Mortensen, Skolarus and McCririe. Nays - None.

12. Request to adjourn to a closed session of the board to discuss proposed judgments on Noble Avenue.

The board did not adjourn to a closed session. Moved by Ledford, supported by Mortensen, to direct the township attorney to execute the agreement. The motion
carried unanimously.
The regular meeting of the Genoa Charter Township Board was adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
