00-02… A request by Health Care Innovations, Section 13, 7701 W. Grand River, is for a variance to install a 10-ft. sign that is 4 ft. taller than permitted.
A Call to the Public was made with no response. Moved by Hensick, supported by Figurski, to approve a 4' height variance to permit a 10' high freestanding pedestal sign. This sign is an existing sign to be moved from the prior business address to Genoa Township. The hardship is the severe terrain with the business located approximately 10' below street level. The motion carried unanimously.
Moved by Ledford, supported by Figurski, to approve the Minutes of the January 9, 2001 regular meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals as submitted. The motion carried unanimously.
Skolarus was asked to contact Heikkinen concerning legal justification for a conflict of interest and guidelines for a member abstaining.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
