Meeting type: Work Session Agenda: Presentation by St. Joe's Medical center concerning a conceptual PUD and site plan for property located at Woodland Hills Golf Course. Discussion of possible changes to the Township Zoning Ordinance as presented by Jeff Purdy and Caryn Champine. Minutes: A work session of all boards was called to order at 7:00 p.m. at the Genoa Township Hall. The following board and commission members were present: Robert Murray, Paulette Skolarus, Robin Hunt, Jean Ledford, Gary McCririe, Craig Jarvis, Bill Colley, Bill Litogot, Barbara Figurski, Rick Staley and Don Pobuda. Also present were Township Manager Mike Archinal, Township Planners Jeff Purdy and Caryn Champine and approximately ten persons in the audience. Presentation by St. Joe's Medical center concerning a conceptual PUD and site plan for property located at Woodland Hills Golf Course. Representatives of St. Joe's advised the boards that they were responding to a growing community need and that they had outgrown the facility located in the City of Brighton. The initial proposal will be for a phased site with a building of approximately 90,000-sq. ft. to be used for ambulatory patients. In addition an assisted living complex will be built on the northeast corner of the site. It will also be included in Phase I and will encompass approximately seven acres. The ambulatory and medical office facility will be constructed of a reddish brick with a limestone trim. The roof will be metal and will include a drive under canopy at the main entrance. The assisted living or apartment rental models will contain 90 units with health services available on the site. Parking for 125 vehicles will be provided. The township took no formal action. Discussion of possible changes to the Township Zoning Ordinance as presented by Jeff Purdy and Caryn Champine. Purdy presented possible changes to the township zoning ordinance.
