1. 07-03…A request by Bert Knickerbocker, Section 10, 5468 Wildwood, for a front and rear yard variance to construct a new home.
2. 07-04…A request by
Laura and Alex Saad, Section 4, 4762 Golf Club Road, for a side yard variance to construct a detached accessory structure.

Chairman Doug Brown called the regular meeting of the Zoning Board of appeals to order at 6:30 p.m. at the Genoa Township Hall. The Pledge of the Allegiance was then said. The following board members were present constituting a quorum for transaction of business: Doug Brown, Barbara Figurski, Steve Wildman, Kevin Brady and Joe Perri. Also present was Township staff member Adam Van Tassell and approximately 3 persons in the audience.

Chairman Brown gave a brief introduction of the board members and on why the Zoning Board of Appeals exists.

Moved by Figurski, supported by Wildman, to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried unanimously.

A call to the public was made for non-agenda items with no response.

07-03…A request by Bert Knickerbocker, Section 10, 5468 Wildwood, for a front and rear yard variance to construct a new home.

A call to the public was made with no response.

Moved by Brady, supported by Figurski, to approve case #07-03 approving a setback variance amount of 1'8" in the front and a setback variance amount of 4' from the rear. The applicant shall remove one of the accessory structures during construction, the construction of a deck shall comply with Township Ordinances and the home is to be guttered. Finding of the fact is the size of the lot. Motion approved unanimously.

07-04…A request by Laura and Alex Saad, Section 4, 4762 Golf Club Road, for a side yard variance to construct a detached accessory structure.

A call to the public was made with no response.

Moved by Brady, supported by Perri, to approve case # 07-04 approving a setback of 5' with a variance amount of 25' to construct an accessory structure. The finding fact being the landscape of the property, slope of the land and the location of septic field and reserve field. Motion approved unanimously.

Moved by Figurski, supported by Wildman, to approve minutes with corrections. Motion carried unanimously.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
