Trustee Steve Wildman
Steve Wildman was born in Burks Falls Ontario Canada in 1955. He moved to the United States in 1962 and became a US citizen in 1993.
Married to his wife Laura, he is the father of three young adults Steven (30), Trevor (28) and Shanna (25).
Moved to Genoa Township from Westland in 1997; became involved with the Lake Chemung Riparian Association - served as President for two years as well as Vice President and a Trustee for several years.
He has been a member of the Fraternal Order of Elks since 1999.
Steve followed in his father's footsteps by becoming a Journeyman Lineman for Detroit Edison; employed since 1987. He has worked out of the Howell Service Center for the last 12 years and has been a member of Local 17 I.B.E.W. since graduating from High School in 1973.
Steve became a member of G.U.A.R.D (Genoa United Against Reckless Development) after a developer proposed a zoning change for the Faulkwood Shores Golf Course and requested a high density condominium project. It was at that point that he became interested in local Genoa politics and has been involved ever since.
He is in his second four year term as a Trustee on the Charter Township of Genoa Board; he was appointed to the Zoning Board of Appeals and is also sits on the Election Commission.
Interests include boating, motorcycling, snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, fishing and just about any type of outdoor activity.
