Township Manager Michael Archinal

Genoa Charter Township has a Township Manager who reports directly to the Township Board elected by its residents. The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Township and has oversight of government functions. Michael Archinal has been the Manager of Genoa Charter Township since March of 1998. Prior to that he was the Assistant City Manager/Community Development Director for the City of Brighton. He has also worked for the Cities of South Lyon and Wixom and the Charter Township of Milford.

Mr. Archinal has a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan University and a Master's Degree in Public Administration (Cum Laude) from Wayne State University. He is a member of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), the America Institute of Community Planners (AICP) and the Michigan Local Government Manager's Association (MLGMA).

Mike has been a resident of Genoa Charter Township since 1998 along with his wife Deborah and son Karl. In his spare time he enjoys fly fishing, upland game hunting, deer hunting, reading, playing hockey and spending time with his family.
