Trustee Jim Mortensen

Jim Mortensen is in his third term as a Township Trustee. In addition Jim is a Township Planning Commissioner, serving in that capacity since 1996. Also, since 2000, he has been a Trustee of the Brighton Area Fire Authority. Jim is a retired financial executive from Ford Motor Company. He holds a BA from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Detroit.

Jim and his wife, Mariel, have been married for over fifty years. They have lived in the Township since 1988. The couple has three grown children and six grandchildren.
